Council has created an Australia China Aged Care Consortium to build on this strong base of health businesses.
The Australia China Aged Care Consortium was initiated by the City of Charles Sturt, in recognition of the strong cluster of health and aged care businesses operating in Adelaide’s western suburbs, and the potential to work together to secure contracts for major projects in China.
It consists of over 30 companies, and is supported by the State Government. Approximately half of these businesses participated in the South Australian Business Mission to China in April 2016.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Aged Care Cooperation between the Cities of Charles Sturt and Yantai was signed on 9 April 2016. The MoU is included below.

The Consortium provides a vertically integrated package of services, advice and products for new and existing aged care and health developments. In particular, it offers skills and expertise in the following areas:
