Spring Garden Competition

Mayors Gardening Competition - gumboots

The City of Charles Sturt is proud to present the Spring Garden Competition 2017.

It’s that time of year again, where we celebrate our City’s avid and enthusiastic gardeners and the City is buzzing with excitement! It's wonderful to see the passion that people in our community have in establishing and caring for their beautiful gardens.

Creative and well-tended garden entries are expected from a wide variety of city landscapes including traditional back gardens, courtyards, balconies, river-frontages, corporate green-spaces, community gardens and school yards.

We have reviewed all the categories this year to reflect our growing City, and you can nominate gardens in any of the following categories:

  • Home Garden Award
  • Small Garden Award
  • Therapeutic Garden Award
  • Food Garden Award
  • Children’s Garden Award
  • Community/Non Residential Garden Award
  • School Garden Award
  • People’s Choice Award – Nominate your favourite park or reserve
  • Most Loved Street  - You can nominate your street or a street you think is beautiful
  • Great Garden Citizen/s – Nominate a great community based gardener/s

Please read the Terms & Conditions below, and submit your entry by COB on Friday 15 September 2017.
